2021 Resident Visa
A closed resident visa for people who were in New Zealand on 29 September 2021 and met eligible-visa, residency or work requirements. It allowed holders to live, work and study in New Zealand.
Academic Visitor Visa
For academics with overseas research or academic work experience who are invited by a New Zealand tertiary education institute to undertake academic work for up to 3 months.
Accredited Employer Work Visa
A work visa for people with a full-time job offer from an AEWV-accredited New Zealand employer. It permits work for the approved employer in the stated job and location, with stays of up to 5 years depending on the job offered.
Active Investor Plus Visa
A New Zealand resident visa for people who live, work and invest in New Zealand, requiring at least NZD $5 million in acceptable Growth category investments or NZD $10 million under the Balanced category.
Adoption Pre-citizenship Visitor Visa
Allows children adopted from other countries to visit New Zealand for up to 6 months before their New Zealand citizenship is confirmed. Children may study for up to 3 months but cannot work.
Adoption Visitor Visa
A visa for children coming to New Zealand to be adopted by New Zealand citizens or residents, with support from Oranga Tamariki — Ministry for Children. It allows a stay of up to 12 months and study for up to 3 months in any calendar year.
