Dependant's Pass
A pass for legally married spouses and unmarried children under 21 of eligible Employment Pass or S Pass holders to stay in Singapore. Its duration is tied to the main work pass or requested duration, whichever is shorter, and it is renewable.
Employment Pass
A work pass for foreign professionals, managers and executives with a job offer in Singapore who meet the qualifying salary and eligibility requirements, including COMPASS unless exempted.
EntrePass
A Singapore work pass for eligible foreign entrepreneurs who want to start and operate a venture-backed business or a business with innovative technologies in Singapore.
Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
A pass for certain family members of eligible Employment Pass or S Pass holders in Singapore, including common-law spouses, specified children and, for qualifying higher earners, parents. Eligible holders may work only if they obtain a separate work pass.
Miscellaneous Work Pass
A non-renewable work pass for eligible foreigners on short-term assignments in Singapore, including certain speakers, religious workers and journalists. It permits assignments of up to 60 days and requires an employer or local sponsor to apply.
Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass
A Singapore work pass for top talent in business, arts and culture, sports, academia and research. It is available to candidates meeting specified salary criteria or with outstanding achievements in certain sectors, and is valid for up to 5 years.
Personalised Employment Pass
A non-renewable work pass for high-earning Employment Pass holders or overseas foreign professionals, offering flexibility to work in any sector and change jobs without reapplying. It is issued once for up to 3 years.
S Pass
A Singapore work pass for foreign skilled workers, including Associate Professionals and Technicians, who have a job offer and meet the applicable qualifying salary criteria. Employers or appointed employment agents apply on the candidate’s behalf.
Singapore Permanent Residence
Singapore permanent residence allows a foreigner to reside in Singapore on a permanent basis. Eligible applicants may include certain family members of Singapore citizens or permanent residents, Employment Pass or S Pass holders, qualifying students, and foreign investors.
Training Employment Pass
A non-renewable pass for eligible foreign students or foreign trainees to undergo training in Singapore, valid for up to 3 months.
Training Work Permit
A work permit for eligible foreign trainees or students to undertake practical training in Singapore for up to 6 months. Employers apply for the permit; it is not renewable and family passes are not available.
Work Holiday Pass (under Work Holiday Programme)
A Singapore work pass for eligible foreign students and young graduates to work and holiday in Singapore for up to 6 months.
Work Holiday Pass (under Work and Holiday Visa Programmes)
A pass for eligible Australian and New Zealander students and graduates to live, work and holiday in Singapore for 12 months. It is issued only once and is not renewable.
Work Pass Exemption
Allows short-term work in Singapore without a work pass for specified exempt activities, subject to a valid Short-Term Visit Pass and MOM notification before starting work. Exempt activities are limited to a total of 90 days in a calendar year.
Work Permit for confinement nanny
A Singapore Work Permit for Malaysian confinement nannies employed to help with a newborn. It is valid for up to 16 weeks from the child’s birth date, is not renewable, and requires the employer to pay a monthly levy and provide medical insurance.
Work Permit for migrant domestic worker (MDW)
A renewable work permit for foreign women employed as domestic helpers in Singapore. It is valid for up to 2 years, subject to the security bond validity.
Work Permit for migrant worker
Work Permit for workers from approved source countries or regions working in Singapore's construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process or services sectors. It is generally issued to unskilled or semi-skilled migrant workers and is valid for up to 2 years.
